The main stage of production, the second type of design.

By February 1934 the design had been reviewed and approved. This can be judged from the photos published in the magazine "Luftwelt" Nr.6, 1934, where the dagger featuring the second type of design can be clearly seen. Company Adolf Braun was mentioned in the secret order as an official distributor.  The daggers of this company are well known - they are of the second type. In addition to the mentioned company, which was not a manufacturer, but a distributor, this type of daggers was produced by the following companies – P. Weyersberg, C. Heidelberg, E&F Hörster, there are also unmarked pieces. Daggers void of any manufacturer stamp can bear stamps of distributors. This pattern was fitted with a blade of a new design - hexagon-shaped, void of a ricasso. The crossguard features smoother forms compared to the first type. Swastikas on pommels and a crossguard were inlaid only.  The construction itself and manufacturing technology of the grip corresponds to the grip of the first type but features a greater number of turns – 14. Fittings on the scabbard are fastened with staples only. The hanger is similar to the first type. The total length of the dagger has been increased, thus, features 55 cm.
